Mint Chocolate Truffles
These delicious mint chocolate truffles are the perfect indulgent treat for over the festive period. Or why not make some to gift to family and friends?
300g mint chocolate
200ml double cream
50g butter
Optional coatings:
Chocolate shavings
Shortbread crumbs
Sprinkles
Follow The Steps
Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place into a heat proof bowl.
Pour the double cream into a pan and add the butter. Bring it almost to the boil.
Pour the hot cream and butter over the chocolate and mix well ensuring it is all well combined and you have a thick ganache.
Put the chocolate mixture into a flat dish and place into the fridge for an hour.
Use spoons to scrape the ganache and then roll into balls using your hands.
Roll them in your chosen toppings and refrigerate until you are ready to eat them.
